Tree House Club Extended Day Program

The Wood Acres School provides the Tree House Club extended day program (before and after school care) to students enrolled during the academic year and/or summer camp. This program is provided as an optional service to families and offers supervised time for play, special activities, and study on all days when school is in session.

The Tree House Club is staffed by Wood Acres’ talented and dedicated teachers. The hours of operation are from 7:00am-6:00pm on all days that The Wood Acres School is in session.

Students must register for the Tree House Club and reservations must be made through the school office. Tree House Club can be reserved on an hourly basis or for fulltime usage. Reservations for your child to attend the Tree House Club must be made by 3:30pm the day prior to usage, and all reservations are based upon availability of appropriate staffing.

Nutritious lunches and afternoon snacks are provided to students in the Tree House Club. Students in the Two and Three Year Old Programs are required to have a school lunch when staying for Tree House Club and lunch fees are dependent upon the Tree House program in which your child is enrolled. All students will enjoy a nutritious afternoon snack as well. Written authorization is requisite for dispensing any medication to a student. The medication must include a date, name of the child, name of the medication, prescription number if applicable and be in the original packaging. The written authorization must include dosage, date and time of the day the medication is to be given.

Wood Acres will keep parents and guardians informed of any incidents, including illnesses, injuries, adverse reactions to medications, or exposure to communicable diseases for a student. It is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to keep the student’s records current to reflect any significant changes as they occur, e.g. telephone numbers, work location, emergency contacts, child’s physician, child’s health status, immunization records or other relevant changes.
